Founded December 1, 1975 at Kean University, Union, New Jersey.

The first Latin fraternity in the country.
The longest continuously active Latino Greek letter organization.
What our founders started in 1975 grew into a movement of more than 30 organizations.

The Lambda Mu Alumni Chapter is made up of brothers who finished school, built careers in metro Atlanta, and decided to send the ladder back down.

Nuestro Legado means our legacy. The chapter raises the money, reads the essays and hands the award over in person, every year, on our own time.

One hundred percent of what you give is awarded. Nothing is held back for administration or overhead.

Essays reach the committee with no name and no school attached, so awards are decided on merit alone.

Recipients are recognized at our Founders Day celebration in the metro Atlanta area, in front of the chapter.

Run entirely by volunteer alumni brothers of the Lambda Mu chapter.
